Saron + Neal| Mississippi Wedding Film

We held on to this wedding film for over a year because we were waiting for the 2015 summer issue of Martha Stewart Weddings to come out, in which Saron and Neal's wedding was featured. My wife, Alee, and Saron did all the design work on the wedding, and it turned out to be one of our favorite weddings ever. Saron's stepfather, Sonny, built a barn on their farmland in order to have an amazing, rustic venue for the wedding. Neal and his father built all the tables and benches that were used, and Saron's brother, Jess, did all the catering for the reception. It truly was a beautiful day filled with laughter and love.

Enjoy!

Hollie + James| Key West Elopement Film

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO HOLLIE AND JAMES!

Hollie and James were married last November in Key West, Florida, in a completely private elopement ceremony (Nathan signed their marriage license as a witness!). Out of all of the weddings we've filmed, this one may be our favorite. It was so intimate and special, and because it was an elopement, we got to know Hollie and James much better than we typically get to know our couples. We spent two full days with them. The first day we were able to interview them and hear all about their love story, and we filmed them walking all around Key West and having a blast. The second day was their amazingly sweet wedding. They love each other so much, and it was so heartwarming to see. I hope you enjoy their super sweet love story meets wedding film!

Kathleen + Francesco: A Florida Wedding Film

Kathleen and Francesco were married in beautiful Sarasota, Florida, with a reception at the most amazing venue overlooking the water. They were such a sweet couple who met in Chicago, lived together in New York, and married in Sarasota, where Kathleen's family had vacationed for years. Kathleen's bridesmaid gave the most heartfelt toast at the reception that fully captures the love and happiness of this beautiful day:

"May your friendship bring curiosity, laughter, and joy to the most mundane of merry moments. May loyalty draw you close to one another when life presents challenges. And may your love for one another be written in your hearts and shape every day of the rest of your lives."

Happy Anniversary to Paige + Thorben!

It's Paige and Thorben's first anniversary, and in honor of it, we wanted to share their New Orleans wedding film with you! Paige and Thorben met in Austin, Texas and moved to San Francisco when Thorben, a German citizen who moved to the United States for college, accepted a job in the tech industry. When they were thinking about places to get married, they considered destinations all over America, but they decided on New Orleans because of Paige's south Mississippi roots and love for New Orleans. The two were married at the Marigny Opera House, an almost 200 year old church which had been converted into a performing arts center in the Marigny neighborhood of downtown New Orleans, adjacent to the French Quarter. After a lot of Creole and German inspired food, the reception came to an end with a bang: a traditional New Orleans second line, in which a New Orleans jazz band led a parade of the wedding party and guests through the streets of downtown.

Caitlin + Cameron: A Houston Wedding Film

Caitlin and Cameron's Houston wedding was at a beautiful French inspired venue in Houston, Texas, Chateau Cocomar. They were such a sweet couple, and the wedding was absolutely gorgeous, from the wardrobes to the table settings. Everyone had such a fun time that nobody wanted to leave at the end of the night! We hope you enjoy their film!

Meryl + Peyton: a Natchez, Mississippi Wedding Film

Meryl and Peyton were married last May at the Dunleith Plantation in Natchez, Mississippi. It was a gorgeous Southern wedding, which took place on the lawn in front of the Dunleith, and it was beautifully executed by planner Todd Bagwell. The grounds of the plantation were decorated with magnolias and beautiful garden roses, and the reception was under the most amazing tent with a full wooden floor and gorgeous lounge furniture. They had one of the best wedding bands we have ever heard, and we have been to a lot of weddings! All in all, their wedding was sweet, lovely, and a ton of fun. Check out their film to see all the amazing details!

Cristy + Eric: A Miami Wedding Film

Cristy and Eric's wedding was one of the most fun weddings we have filmed this year. They are both from Miami, but they met at school in New Orleans, so their reception was full of New Orleans details, including a second line band! On a side note, can I say how awesome Miami is?! We LOVED it. If it weren't for the horrible traffic, we'd move there tomorrow.

Anyway, here is their wedding film!

Ally + Mark: A Bermudian Savannah Wedding

First, I should apologize for the fact that it has been a million months since I have posted anything on the blog. Life has been insane, but I really am going to try to blog more!

Secondly, I have a fantastic wedding to share today. We met Mark and Ally a couple years ago when they were the photographers of the wedding we filmed in Bermuda. They are both Bermudian citizens and live there full time. At the time we met them, they were seriously dating, and it was only a matter of time before Mark popped the question. They decided to get married in Savannah, GA, because Ally had gone to college there and had family from the area. When they asked us to film the wedding, we were ecstatic, because even though we only met them for a few hours, we knew that we really liked them. They are fun, kind people, and we couldn't be happier that they found each other. (Plus we got to use some Super 8, and we always love that!) Here is their film! Enjoy!

Ashley + Ivan: an Arkansas Barn Wedding

We filmed Ashley and Ivan's wedding last May at The Barn at Twin Oaks Ranch in Dardanelle, AR. Ashley and Ivan were so sweet and amazing to work with, and they were SO HAPPY. Honestly, they were one of the happiest, most in love couples that we've ever worked with. They met while salsa dancing in downtown Little Rock, which I thought was such an amazing story, particularly because the idea of going salsa dancing by myself is so terrifying that I think Ashley is such a brave woman! And her bravery clearly paid off! Ivan and his family are from Puerto Rico, and the whole day was a beautiful family affair, with everyone dancing the night away while the most amazing salsa band played. I wish every wedding we filmed was as fun as this one was. I hope you enjoy their film!

Donnally + J.R.: an Arkansas Wedding Film

Today we are sharing another one of our films from 2013. Donnally and J.R. were married last summer at Donnally's parents' lakehouse in Mena, Arkansas. It was a beautiful, rustic farm wedding, designed and planned by the ever talented Jessica Kersey from Finishing Touch Events in Northwest Arkansas. The ceremony was a simple and touching outdoor service under an arbor and in front of a lovely lake. The reception was tented, with antique china place settings and peaches galore! Donnally and J.R. are such a sweet couple, and their love for each other was so evident on their wedding day. I hope you enjoy their film!
