Kathleen + Francesco: A Florida Wedding Film

Kathleen and Francesco were married in beautiful Sarasota, Florida, with a reception at the most amazing venue overlooking the water. They were such a sweet couple who met in Chicago, lived together in New York, and married in Sarasota, where Kathleen's family had vacationed for years. Kathleen's bridesmaid gave the most heartfelt toast at the reception that fully captures the love and happiness of this beautiful day:

"May your friendship bring curiosity, laughter, and joy to the most mundane of merry moments. May loyalty draw you close to one another when life presents challenges. And may your love for one another be written in your hearts and shape every day of the rest of your lives."

Punya + Ravi | An Orlando Indian Wedding

One of the awesome things about filming weddings is that we’re reminded every week that love transcends culture, traditions, and religions. It’s such a beautiful thing. Ever since we filmed our first Indian wedding we have absolutely fallen in love with them! While most weddings we film last for one day, Indian wedding celebrations last FOR DAYS!. It’s such a big party with family and friends traveling in from all over the world to show their love and support of the couple. So when Punya and Ravi reached out to us to film their Orlando Indian wedding we were ecstatic. We looked forward to filming their big weekend for months (and it’s not only because we would have an excuse to visit Disney World!). Punya and Ravi awed us with all of the thought and detail they put into their wedding planning. These two worked tirelessly to make sure the celebration was going to be one that their friends and family who travelled in from all over the world would never forget. Good news: it was an epic success.

Featured on Style Me Pretty! | Lauren + Raley

Lauren and Raley were the sweetest. They met in college and have been together for ten years! They were so happy on their wedding day, and they didn’t even mind a little rain, even with an outdoor ceremony. Lauren said the rain made her feel like she was in “Pride and Prejudice.” It was a small, intimate garden ceremony, followed by a beautiful candlelit dinner, where their family toasted them, and everyone laughed and cried. We couldn’t have been more honored to be there to capture all the love and laughter.

Their film was featured on Style Me Pretty today. Check out the post! http://www.stylemepretty.com/little-black-book-blog/2016/08/06/intimate-texas-garden-wedding-film/

Happy Anniversary to Paige + Thorben!

It's Paige and Thorben's first anniversary, and in honor of it, we wanted to share their New Orleans wedding film with you! Paige and Thorben met in Austin, Texas and moved to San Francisco when Thorben, a German citizen who moved to the United States for college, accepted a job in the tech industry. When they were thinking about places to get married, they considered destinations all over America, but they decided on New Orleans because of Paige's south Mississippi roots and love for New Orleans. The two were married at the Marigny Opera House, an almost 200 year old church which had been converted into a performing arts center in the Marigny neighborhood of downtown New Orleans, adjacent to the French Quarter. After a lot of Creole and German inspired food, the reception came to an end with a bang: a traditional New Orleans second line, in which a New Orleans jazz band led a parade of the wedding party and guests through the streets of downtown.

Caitlin + Cameron: A Houston Wedding Film

Caitlin and Cameron's Houston wedding was at a beautiful French inspired venue in Houston, Texas, Chateau Cocomar. They were such a sweet couple, and the wedding was absolutely gorgeous, from the wardrobes to the table settings. Everyone had such a fun time that nobody wanted to leave at the end of the night! We hope you enjoy their film!

2015 Reel and Happy New Year!

I know I'm a little late on this, but I just wanted to wish y'all a happy new year and share a short reel of some of our favorite 2015 weddings! Last year we filmed so many amazing places, including Miami, New Orleans, Savannah, Austin, Sarasota, Chicago, and Houston, and 2016 is shaping up to be just as interesting! You can find more videos like this on our instagram page @nathanwillisweddingfilms. Meryl + Peyton: a Natchez, Mississippi Wedding Film

Meryl and Peyton were married last May at the Dunleith Plantation in Natchez, Mississippi. It was a gorgeous Southern wedding, which took place on the lawn in front of the Dunleith, and it was beautifully executed by planner Todd Bagwell. The grounds of the plantation were decorated with magnolias and beautiful garden roses, and the reception was under the most amazing tent with a full wooden floor and gorgeous lounge furniture. They had one of the best wedding bands we have ever heard, and we have been to a lot of weddings! All in all, their wedding was sweet, lovely, and a ton of fun. Check out their film to see all the amazing details!

New Orleans Styled Shoot at Race and Religious

This past spring we were able to participate in a beautiful styled shoot in New Orleans at what I consider to be the most fantastic venue in NOLA, Race and Religious. The shoot was designed by my wife, Alee, and her business partner, Saron, (Mitchell Willis Events) for the wedding inspiration blog The Bridal Theory. There were so many people that contributed to making this shoot a success: Lauren Kinsey, the photographer; the hair and makeup artist, Faces of Virtue; the florist, Bee's Weddings; the dress designer, Samuelle Couture; the stationer, Paper Birch Designs; the calligrapher, Signora e Mare; and the rental companies, Ardor Event Rentals and Perrier Party Rentals. The gorgeous models are Jasmine Kudji and Cliff Van Meter, and you can see photos of the shoot here.

Enjoy!

TRAILER: Kristina + Lee

Kristina and Lee's Chicago wedding was one of the most fun weddings we filmed this year. Lee is British and met Kristina when they were in high school and her family served as hosts for British students who had traveled to the US to play soccer. It's pretty rare that we get to film weddings for couples who are as in love as Kristina and Lee. Their family and friends are so supportive of their relationship, and it makes us so happy to be able to share their happiness-filled wedding day. Full film coming soon! Enjoy!

Cristy + Eric: A Miami Wedding Film

Cristy and Eric's wedding was one of the most fun weddings we have filmed this year. They are both from Miami, but they met at school in New Orleans, so their reception was full of New Orleans details, including a second line band! On a side note, can I say how awesome Miami is?! We LOVED it. If it weren't for the horrible traffic, we'd move there tomorrow.

Anyway, here is their wedding film!
