Jamie & John | New Orleans Wedding Film

Jamie & John's wedding was perfect. Every detail was thought out, and this couple has so much love for one another. Friends and family traveled from all over, from Houston to as far as Ireland, where John is from. Everyone spoke about them with so much joy and love, and it was such an honor to be a part of it. And y'all this venue is dope.

Alanna + Blake | New Orleans Wedding film

This wedding was extra special. Blake and Alanna are some of our very favorite people and they happened to get married in one of our very favorite cities. Alee was actually a bridesmaid (and light holder during the reception!), and the night ended in the most perfect way: a second line through the streets of New Orleans celebrating the marriage of two incredible people.

Happy Anniversary to Paige + Thorben!

It's Paige and Thorben's first anniversary, and in honor of it, we wanted to share their New Orleans wedding film with you! Paige and Thorben met in Austin, Texas and moved to San Francisco when Thorben, a German citizen who moved to the United States for college, accepted a job in the tech industry. When they were thinking about places to get married, they considered destinations all over America, but they decided on New Orleans because of Paige's south Mississippi roots and love for New Orleans. The two were married at the Marigny Opera House, an almost 200 year old church which had been converted into a performing arts center in the Marigny neighborhood of downtown New Orleans, adjacent to the French Quarter. After a lot of Creole and German inspired food, the reception came to an end with a bang: a traditional New Orleans second line, in which a New Orleans jazz band led a parade of the wedding party and guests through the streets of downtown.

2015 Reel and Happy New Year!

I know I'm a little late on this, but I just wanted to wish y'all a happy new year and share a short reel of some of our favorite 2015 weddings! Last year we filmed so many amazing places, including Miami, New Orleans, Savannah, Austin, Sarasota, Chicago, and Houston, and 2016 is shaping up to be just as interesting! You can find more videos like this on our instagram page @nathanwillisweddingfilms. New Orleans Styled Shoot at Race and Religious

This past spring we were able to participate in a beautiful styled shoot in New Orleans at what I consider to be the most fantastic venue in NOLA, Race and Religious. The shoot was designed by my wife, Alee, and her business partner, Saron, (Mitchell Willis Events) for the wedding inspiration blog The Bridal Theory. There were so many people that contributed to making this shoot a success: Lauren Kinsey, the photographer; the hair and makeup artist, Faces of Virtue; the florist, Bee's Weddings; the dress designer, Samuelle Couture; the stationer, Paper Birch Designs; the calligrapher, Signora e Mare; and the rental companies, Ardor Event Rentals and Perrier Party Rentals. The gorgeous models are Jasmine Kudji and Cliff Van Meter, and you can see photos of the shoot here.

Enjoy!
