New Orleans Styled Shoot at Race and Religious

This past spring we were able to participate in a beautiful styled shoot in New Orleans at what I consider to be the most fantastic venue in NOLA, Race and Religious. The shoot was designed by my wife, Alee, and her business partner, Saron, (Mitchell Willis Events) for the wedding inspiration blog The Bridal Theory. There were so many people that contributed to making this shoot a success: Lauren Kinsey, the photographer; the hair and makeup artist, Faces of Virtue; the florist, Bee's Weddings; the dress designer, Samuelle Couture; the stationer, Paper Birch Designs; the calligrapher, Signora e Mare; and the rental companies, Ardor Event Rentals and Perrier Party Rentals. The gorgeous models are Jasmine Kudji and Cliff Van Meter, and you can see photos of the shoot here.

Enjoy!

TRAILER: Kristina + Lee

Kristina and Lee's Chicago wedding was one of the most fun weddings we filmed this year. Lee is British and met Kristina when they were in high school and her family served as hosts for British students who had traveled to the US to play soccer. It's pretty rare that we get to film weddings for couples who are as in love as Kristina and Lee. Their family and friends are so supportive of their relationship, and it makes us so happy to be able to share their happiness-filled wedding day. Full film coming soon! Enjoy!

TRAILER: Miranda + Dillon

One service that we have started offering our couples is a shorter version of their short film, which we are calling a trailer. Initially, doing this seemed like extra work, but I can honestly say that it has been so inspiring and has helped us to see our films in a totally new light. When you're editing a film this short, you really have to decide what the most essential and beautiful shots are, and it makes you think about your work in a fresh, new way.

Miranda and Dillon were such a sweet, friendly couple (and clearly beautiful people!), and they made our jobs easier by being so easygoing and fun to be around. Their wedding day in Natchez, Mississippi, was a beautiful day filled with laughter and dancing and friends, and we couldn't have been happier to get to be a part of it.
